Frequently Asked Questions
A lot has changed since your parents first went to college, and the changes are definitely for the better! With individual housing contracts, you are only responsible for your monthly installments, and you’re not liable for the roommates’ monthly installments. Unlike a traditional housing contract, if a roommate transfers, graduates, or decides not to pay their installments, you have nothing to worry about!
Yes, renter’s insurance provides peace of mind and protection from unforeseen events that sometimes occur. Renter’s insurance helps protect you from liability while your child is away from home, such as apartment damage, damage to another resident’s property, or injuries to guests. Requiring renter’s insurance has become a common practice throughout both on and off-campus student apartments to adequately protect a student’s belongings, including textbooks, phones, electronics, and other valuables. To create a safer living environment for your son or daughter, we now require all residents to carry an active renter’s insurance policy during their lease term. For added convenience, though a national insurance provider, we offer a comprehensive policy to residents at a group rate! You can enroll in less than two minutes at ePremium Insurance.
